Welcome to the MySmartcan blog. We are very excited to launch this blog with a focus on everything we love. We set out to change one of the most mundane and routine tasks. A task so boring, it has remained unchanged since the Romans, perhaps even before that time. We are talking about trash. That’s right, trash! We love talking trash, but not in the way you might think. When we talk trash, we want to enlighten you about this problem that every single person in the world has. No one, no matter how rich or poor, old or young, can escape dealing with the trash. However, what if there was another way? A way that isn’t a struggle. A way that didn’t cause back pain. A way that didn’t cause the dread of another trash day.
We have good news! There is hope. Smartcan is here to change the entire trash landscape. Trashcans haven’t had a major overhaul since its invention thousands of years ago. It’s a basic receptacle that holds waste. The last major innovation was the trash bag, but that has it’s own set of problems. Namely, the suction that the plastic on plastic contact creates. That is now a problem of yesterday. Smartcan has a unique, patented design with a detachable body that is wider at the bottom, removing the issue of suction and vacuum. Also, because the body detaches from the base, the trash bag can be easily removed and allows the user to maintain the proper lifting position.
This marks a turning point in home trash maintenance. Never again will people wrestle with trash bags or wrangle stray pieces of garbage. This is just the beginning of what we want to talk about here in this blog. We will focus on home sustainability, home decor and design, DIY and renovation projects, and seasonal topics of interest, and that’s just for starters! We welcome your input. Connect with us via social media channels like Facebook and Twitter and stayed tuned for some reason posts and developments. We can’t wait to keep talking trash!
